I used to get so aggravated while surfing the Internet. Don't you just hate those annoying pop-up ads? It only takes a second to close them, but some have become so sophisticated that as soon as you close one, another pops up in its place. Thank Goodness for Pop-up Blockers. Most are effective and free. All you have to do is download one from the Internet and then install it on your computer. Presto! No more unwanted pop-up ads!
When Jesus ascended into Heaven, He left in His place the Holy Spirit. The Scriptures teach us many different roles or jobs of the Holy Spirit. One of those roles is guiding us through our day. Like annoying pop-up ads, temptations and distractions bombard us from every possible direction. But if we use the Holy Spirit as our "pop-up" blocker, we are able to yield to all those temptations. The Holy Spirit is that little voice deep inside us that steers and guides us in the right direction. Non-Believers call that our instincts, but scientifically speaking, humans don't have instincts, only animals do. Would you like this free Holy Spirit "Pop-up blocker"?
